Logging In
There are many pages on this website which are member only pages.
We encourage you to login first before browsing, using the light blue area at the top of your browser. When you are logged in, you will see more menu options become available.
Resetting Passwords
If you cannot remember your password please email CIPSA here, or call CIPS Australia on 1300 765 142 / +61 3 9629 6000 to have your password reset. (If you are unsure, check with the CIPSA office first, before taking the steps below).
Creating a Password
If you have never created a password before, go to LOGIN HELP on the top right of the screen (in the light blue Login area).
- Login Help takes you to MY CIPS, at the bottom of this page, choose: If you do not have a password you can create one here
- Enter all of your details, including your membership number. If the system does not recognise your details, it will ask you to email crc@cips.org to have your password created. The UK head office will respond in 24-48 hours with your new password.
My CIPS is the area of the website, where once you are logged in, you can view your profile, change your details, password, renew your membership, and see your purchases and bookings.
How is the website structured?
The website is split into a number of broad sections called 'tabs'. Please note these tabs, do not currently contain Australasian content. For all information relating to CIPS Australai, choose the Australasia Tab.
These tabs include the CIPS corporate section, plus sections representing the major areas of CIPS operation, such as qualifications and training. Each of these tabs has a home page which can be reached by using the strip of links – tabs – across the top of every page. Each of these tabs also has a text-based link in the bottom left hand corner of every page.
Each page carries three small symbols at the top. These enable you to print out that page in a printer-friendly format, to email the page address as a link to a colleague, and a button to quickly add any page to your favourites or bookmarks.
How do I find what I want on the website?
You can navigate throughout each tab by using the panel on the left of every page. Wherever you are in the website, this panel will contain links back up to the relevant home page, as well as links to other pages in the current tab section. Colour coding gives you a clear visual representation of where you are within the section.
At the top of each page is the interest search box. If you click on the small down arrow a short list of relevant topics you might be looking for appears and selecting one before clicking the 'Go' button will take you to a relevant page on the web site. Please note, like the Tabs, these search options do not contain Australasian content. Next to this control at the top of each page is the quick search box. If you type in words or phrases related to the information you are looking for into this and press 'Go' you will be shown a list of links to relevant pages on the web site.
You can also select 'Advanced search' to perform a more detailed search, or 'Site map' to view a comprehensive list of links to pages in the site.
