What is www.cips.org?

www.cips.org is the Chartered Institute for Purchasing & Supply or the CIPS website. CIPS is an international organisation, based in the UK, serving the purchasing and supply profession. Dedicated to promoting best practice, we  provide a wide range of services for the benefit of members and the wider business community.

How is the website structured?

The website is split into a number of broad sections called 'tabs'. These tabs  represent the major interest areas:

Each tab has a main landing page reached by using the strip of links – tabs – across the top of every page. Each of these tabs also has a text-based link in the bottom left hand corner of every page.

Each page carries three small symbols at the top right that enable printing, emailing, bookmarking or sharing a page.

How do I find what I want on the website?

Navigate within each tab by using the left menu options. Wherever you are, this menu contains links to the pages in the tab. Colour coding gives a clear visual representation of where you are within the section.

At the top of each page is the interest search box. If you click on the small down arrow a short list of relevant topics you might be looking for appears and selecting one before clicking the 'Go' button will take you to a relevant page on the web site. Next to this control at the top of each page is the quick search box. If you type in words or phrases related to the information you are looking for into this and press 'Go' you will be shown a list of links to relevant pages on the web site.

You can also select 'Advanced search' to perform a more detailed search, or 'Site map' to view a comprehensive list of links to pages in the site.

Where can I contact CIPS?

You can contact CIPS for general enquiries using the online feedback form. Simply click on the 'contact us' link at the top right of any page.

Certain products and services will also have their own contact details, and these will be found in the sections relating to those areas.

Where do I report technical faults with the website?

Faulty pages or applications, broken links and other technical faults should be reported by emailing web@cips.org
