How can I pay for my books?
You can place a secure credit card order online using american express / visa / mastercard / delta or switch. If you are printing your order form and sending a cheque the goods will be dispatched on receipt of your cheque. We can provide quotations to enable you to obtain payment from your company if you require.
What is your pricing Policy?
The prices shown are the Publisher’s Recommended Retail Prices. Some items carry additional CIPS Membership discount – these prices are only visible if you logged in with your Membership number. In addition watch out for special offers.
When will I be charged for my order?
Charges are only made at the time of dispatch. Should any book be out of stock you will need to reorder this separately or email to bookshopinfo@cips.org to be notified when the book is back in stock.
What are the postage and packaging charges?
UK postage and packaging - these are calculated at the checkout. Small orders will be sent by Royal Mail, larger orders will be dispatched by courier and tracking information sent to you be email.
All international deliveries are sent by courier. The prices are calculated at the checkout and are current DHL charges. Tracking confirmation will be sent to you by email.
My special offer bundle shows the full price for a book
If your order includes a full set of study packs or workbooks, or a special offer bundle of books, please note the full price will show against the first item in this offer.
Are my details secure?
Yes. We use SSL encryption technology when taking your payment details which are then encrypted on our database. Once the order has been processed your payment details are wiped from our database.
Ordering FAQs
Will I recieve confirmation of my order?
When placing an order you will receive a confirmation email. Please check delivery details are correct. If there are any problems please contact us on 0845 880 1188 (option 4) or email bookshop.orders@cips.org.
How can I check my order's status?
You can go to your My CIPS part of the website and go to My Purchases.
How are my books sent?
Within the UK small parcels are sent by Royal Mail, larger orders usually two books or more are sent by courier. All parcels delivered by courier will require a signature. If no one is available to sign a card will be put through the door asking you to contact the courier to arrange re-delivery or collection. Please ensure that your instructions include your chosen delivery address.
All international deliveries are sent by courier. The prices are calculated at the checkout and are current DHL charges. If you are not in a hurry for your books and would like a quote for air parcel for your order please contact bookshopinfo@cips.org.
How long does it take for orders to be delivered?
Orders for stock items placed before 2pm Mon-Fri will be dispatched within 24 hours where possible and should generally be delivered the next working day within the UK.
For smaller parcels sent by Royal Mail please allow up to 8 working days. Normally books arrive well within that time but there is no tracking information with the Royal Mail service.
International orders dispatched by DHL usually arrive within 3-5 working days. CIPS cannot be responsible for any delays caused by different customs procedures in other countries.
Please note that CIPS is closed during weekends and all UK bank holidays and orders will not be dispatched during this time
Cancellations/Returns FAQs
How do I cancel an order?
If you wish to cancel an order please email or call the bookshop. If your order has already been processed you can arrange to return the parcel however you may incur postage costs
What is your returns policy?
Unwanted items can be returned to us in pristine condition and a credit will be issued. There may be a small handling or postage charge incurred. Please make sure you include your details in the parcel so that we can confirm receipt and contact you for card details for a refund if appropriate.

I've forgotten my password, what should I do?
Go to the online password reminder screen enter your membership number and press submit.
An email will arrive with your password.
I need to change my account details, how do i do this?
To change this visit you My CIPS and go to My Profile.
How do I get my password for the study pack online resources?
Online resources are only available if you have ordered CIPS Profex study packs from CIPS in which case your password to access the online resources will be included on your despatch note. The resources can be found in the bookshop main menu http://www.cips.org/en/shop/Study-Pack-on-line-resources/
