CPD 12 logoThe Global Procurement and Supply Chain in Oil & Gas 2013 taking place in Abu Dhabi, UAE from 27 to 29 May, aims to identify and discuss the central issues in the oil and gas supply chain industry – this includes procurement and supply chain within the upstream, midstream and downstream. The forum serves as a meeting ground for all stakeholders involved in developing a robust supply chain. The event brings together CEO’s, Vice-President’s, Director’s, Manager’s, Head’s and Team Leader’s from Operating Companies (IOCs and NOCs), Main Contractors, Sub- Contractors and Suppliers from the region, under one roof for three-days to discuss important issues and arrive at possible solutions.

The event aims to achieve results in the areas of Risk Identification and Management, Supply Chain Integration and Optimization, Sourcing Centralization, Contract Management and Negotiation, Dispute Resolution and Organizational Performance. The event follows a unique format to achieve this – it comprises of Main Sessions (5 sessions in total with 3 case studies/presentations each), Interactive Brainstorming and Solution-finding Sessions (following Main Sessions), and 2 Cultural Evenings.
