CIPS Learning Academy

CIPS recognises that both individuals and their businesses require different ways of studying towards MCIPS. A college course of day release or evening classes does not suit everyone.

As well as our network of Study Centres, CIPS Learning Academy offers three learning programmes for the way you study – in your own time, at your own pace, at home, work, while travelling or in the classroom - whatever you need, there will be a programme that is right for you.

Learning overview

Find the right path to success for you.

There are clear differences between each programme, but the result is the same – you will be able to select a way forward to suit you, your organisation, your lifestyle, your personal circumstances and your ambition to further your career.

Whichever option you choose, there’s a dedicated CIPS Programme Manager to support you and provide a focal point for day-to-day queries.

If you are a corporate with more than 10 employees who wish to study with the Learning Academy, please contact us or call +44 (0) 1780 756777

Study when you want choose a unit or a whole level – this option allows you to focus on what suits you best.

You will be away from home and work for up to 4 full days per unit. During the programme you will attend residential, face-to-face tutorials of intensive and focussed study leading into the exam.

4-6 weeks prior to the tuition days, we send you joining instructions plus the CIPS Course Book to enable vital pre-course reading.

Don’t forget, where you have been awarded exemptions this option allows you to take the outstanding units in order to complete a level.

Accommodation

The fees do not include overnight accommodation which is payable by delegates on venue departure. However, reservations are secured for all delegates for the duration of the training. Delegates wishing to attend the course on a daily basis must advise CIPS immediately to avoid hotel cancellation charges

Overnight accommodation will not be secured for delegates returning to the Kettering Park Hotel for their examination.

Should you require Sunday night accommodation, prior to each module, booking details are included in the Joining Instructions.

Please note that you must be registered as a member to attend the programme. Join CIPS

Blended

While you have the flexibility to study at a time and place to suit you this study programme will give structure to your studies. A study planner will, week by week, help you to combine the learning resources and prepare for the examinations in May and November.

A defined structure to your learning keeps you on track and enables you to complete a whole Level in 12 months.

Three 2-day workshops (held in the UK) further support your study giving face-to-face tuition and an opportunity to network with other students on the programme.

Practice for the examinations is provided in the form of mock exam paper assignments, one for each unit, which are marked by the tutor who awards a grade and gives you constructive feedback. They’re not compulsory, but do give you valuable practice at answering examination style questions and the opportunity to assess your progress.

E-learning assistance is available for 24 months so you can extend your learning or have support where there is a need to resit an exam.  E-learning demonstration.

Joining Instructions are sent out 4-6 weeks prior to the programme.  The CIPS Course Books relating to the units to be studied will be sent out under separate cover.  Login details giving access to interactive e-learning units, the online tutor and Knowledge Bytes will be advised via email.
