Exemptions
Unit exemptions may be granted depending on your circumstances
You may have already completed studies for other qualifications during which some subjects had a similar content and were of at least the same standard as our unit content. Exemptions can be claimed either for previous qualifications, this is called Accreditation of Prior Certificated Learning (APCL) or for previous experiential learning, this is called Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL).
Exemptions will be considered for levels 3-6 of our qualifications providing you meet the entry requirements for that level. However you cannot claim exemptions from any of the integrative units or from the core compulsory units of level 6. You cannot be exempt from integrative units
These are:
- Level 3 Certificate in Purchasing and Supply – Purchasing in Action
- Level 4 Foundation Diploma in Purchasing and Supply – Purchasing Contexts
- Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Purchasing and Supply – Improving Supply Chain Performance
- Level 6 Graduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supply – Supply Chain Management in Practice
You cannot be exempt from Level 6 core compulsory units

Please note that a fee will be charged for each unit exemption.
