Team Leader – Strategic Sourcing Projects (Ref 2332PSA)

Lead and develop the Procurement project team to manage procurement projects and provide procurement support directly or on behalf of Groups within Auckland city council and propose strategies to leverage incremental opportunities to reduce overall costs and increase value added.

Your key areas of focus in this role are:

Developing a centre of excellence of innovative, best practice project management solutions for unlocking and driving value and savings
Engage business groups in procurement strategy and policy to ensure best practice and effective aggregation
Review of the Contract and Supplier Management manual and Procure-it to meet ongoing expectations of stakeholders, statutory compliance and best practice

Team Leader – Procurement Support (Ref 2341PSA)

Lead the Procurement support team and the on-going administration of procurement on our intranet. You will be responsible for the deployment of processes and tools that enable effective use thereof by the organisations.

You key areas of focus in this role are to identify opportunities for aggregation, analyse, review and propose improvements to increase procurement and procure to pay efficiencies. Co-ordinate the financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting process for the Procurement team and manage the organisation wide minor fixed asset vehicle replacement and courier budgets.
