This course provides an understanding of the basic concepts of procurement.
Programme content:
This programme will apply facilitated sessions, group discussion and case studies to address the following:
- The role of procurement in your organisation
- The stages of the procurement process
- Selecting the most appropriate procurement method
- Integration with budget and financial processes
- Three important influences on better procurement outcomes - probity, record keeping and communication
- Components of a good procurement framework
