  • Supply chains & carbon footprinting - Methods & Myths

    This event will look at methods available to carbon footprint your supply chain and will challenge some myths about commonly held beliefs about what action supply chain professionals should be taking to achieve climate change targets.
    There will be two presentations, about the methods available and processes needed to carbon footprint a supply chain, followed by looking at the myths and pitfalls of possible supply response.

    Suncorp worked through the development of its procurement methodology to achieve CIPS Certification and became the first business within QLD to obtain this status.

    CIPS Australia and the ACT Committee warmly invites you to our next event to hear Harry Dunstall of Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO).

    Harry has been instrumental in creating a centre-led contracting workforce across DMO to standardise procurement practices and, in conjunction with the Australian Procurement and Construction Council, work towards supporting his staff through the development of a national procurement profession.

    During his time at AGS, he advised on complex Commonwealth tendering and contracting projects, and specialised in major defence projects. These projects were undertaken for the Defence Materiel Organisation as well as for other defence groups.
