Practical Training Courses
Basic contract law
You don't need to be a legal eagle to understand the basics of contract law but as a professional within a buying environment you do need to have an overview. This course gives an excellent insight into fundamental aspects of contract law and demonstrates how the legal process is applied in your working environment.
Aims
This course will give you an insight into the basic principles of contract formation and the rights, duties and remedies for breach that apply to commercial contracts. It will give you a clearer understanding of the origins of law, the essential elements of a contract and the dangers for buyers when contracts are not properly understood. You will also have a clear understanding of how the legal process is applied in the working environment.
Who should attend
All buyers, particularly inexperienced ones, need to be aware of the basic legal principles governing contracts not just to solve disputes but, more importantly, how to avoid them.
Benefits of attending
