TUPE - and its impact on procurement

Despite the signs that we are coming out of the recession, the outlook is further staff cuts as organisations considering outsourcing options to save money and drive efficiencies.

Keep your knowledge up-to-date with the latest TUPE regulations in this highly topical seminar. All elements of the TUPE regulations are covered, with particular emphasis on their significance to procurement.

The impact of these regulations will be explained in a way that should clarify the key issues involved. The event also covers the question of risks between the client and the service provider(s) and the implications for outsourcing activities

Faculty/Group: Public Sector Faculty

Aims

Highlights at a Glance - learn the intent behind the TUPE Regulations
- gain practical understanding of when and how TUPE applies
- understand the consequences of infringing regulations
- explore key contractual clauses to be negotiated with
   suppliers

Outsourcing has become a major element to business planning, whether at the initial stage of moving from in-house provision or at the later stage of transferring from one service provider to another.
