This also requires the completion of the CIPS Ethical Procurement and Supply eLearning and test demonstrates your commitment towards ethical procurement and sustainable supply chains. Find out more about the Ethics Test here
Your Chartered Status is valid for one year, your eCertificate’s expiry date indicates when you need to update your Chartered Status. To update/maintain your Chartered Status, you'll need to make sure you have a current membership, complete the CIPS Ethical Procurement and Supply eLearning and have recorded a minimum of 30 hours CPD activity within the last 12 months.

To apply to change your name, you'll need to complete our Name Change application form from your MyCIPS Dashboard 'My Requests and Applications’ and submit evidence.
All membership grade certificates including chartered status (MCIPS/FCIPS) are available to view from your MyCIPS Dashboard in an electronic format and can be accessed at any time while your membership is current. If you have recently been upgraded, Please allow up to 24 hours, for your new membership certificate to generate.
When you achieve Fellowship (FCIPS) we will print and post your first FCIPS Certificate as part of your upgrade. You will also be able to access the digital eCertificate.
For our members who are successfully awarded Chartered Status (MCIPS Chartered or FCIPS Chartered), you will also receive an electronic Chartered Status certificate.
Exams
Firstly, you must be a current student member to enter for CIPS exams. Once you've joined, take a look at our exam schedule to stay up-to-date with the upcoming exams. Simply screenshot your exam booking in My Exams and results and bring this with you on exam day.
You will need to go to your MyCIPS dashboard and find your exam in My exams and results and cancel the wrong booking. You will need to request a refund, and you will then be able to book again. Please however, make sure you check you are within the deadlines

We're only able to accept cancellations outside of the booking window based on medical reasons, and we will need formal evidence such as a doctor’s note. You can find more information about authorised cancellations on our policies page.
We have a responsibility to ensure all candidates have equal opportunities to reach their full potential. In some instances, candidates may require adjustments to the assessment process. Applications should be submitted to us before the exam entry closure date of the assessment. You can find more here. To apply for a reasonable adjustment, the application form can be located in your MyCIPS area under My Requests and Applications within ‘Exam Related Applications.'
Candidates may apply for special consideration in instances that could not possibly be predicted. Applications must be made within 2 days of the date of the exam or assessment. This also applies to candidates wishing to report any incident which may have affected their examination or assessment performance. You can find out more here. You'll be able to find the exam results release date by viewing our timetable here. Exam results will be available in your MyCIPS dashboard once they have been released.

We’re sorry you have not yet received your certificate. If your address was correct at the time of despatch, you will qualify for a free replacement. Please contact member services here.

The level 4 Diploma is the highest starting point for CIPS qualifications, even if you have a previous degree. However, if you feel you have already covered the content of any of the modules through previous learning, you may be eligible for exemptions. Find out more about applying for exemptions here.

You can now upload your assignments via our application form. Head to your MyCIPS dashboard and My Requests and Applications and fill out the appropriate form under Corporate Award Programme – Assignment Upload and Extension Forms.

Study guides, eBooks & eLearning
Study materials such as the Study Guides, eBooks and eLearning, can be purchased with either a debit/credit card or PayPal account, directly from our website here.
Whilst the eLearning is a great companion to the Study Guides and eBooks, we do advise that you would not be able to pass exams purely from the eLearning alone and recommend purchasing the Study Guides and/or eBooks.
It’s important to remember that all exam questions are based off the Learning Outcomes from the syllabus of the qualification you are studying, and we recommend that you review these Learning Outcomes in conjunction with the study materials.
Yes. You’ll still be able to access the My Learning section from your MyCIPS Dashboard, regardless of your membership status.
Please be aware that eBooks are available for fiv years from the date of purchase and eLearning material is accessible for one year from the date of purchase.
