The UK Public Procurement Act

UK Public Procurement Reform
The Procurement Act 2023 officially came into force on 24 February 2025. The new rules are designed to create a simpler, more transparent process, placing value for money, public benefit and integrity at the heart of public procurement. The intention is to open public procurement opportunities to new entrants such as small businesses and voluntary, community and social enterprises.
