Volunteer Engagement Group

Volunteers are vital to CIPS and do amazing work to support the achievement of our goals and objectives.
This group has been established to further harness the support of our volunteering community, and ensure CIPS volunteers are celebrated, recognised and their activities are aligned with our strategy.
Who are the Volunteer Engagement Group and what do they do?
Set up in 2021, the Volunteer Engagement Group fundamentally exists to help us to evolve, empower and grow our volunteering community.
The Volunteer Engagement Group champions volunteering with CIPS and works with us to develop the benefits that members and their employers gain from volunteering. They advise on volunteer engagement activities, and ways for us to attract and develop our volunteers, ultimately to help us grow the capability and size of our global volunteer community.
The Volunteer Engagement Group includes a diverse selection of our most passionate volunteers from across the world, with a mixture of professional and volunteering experience and expertise. There are currently 46 members of the Volunteer Engagement Group, and there is no restriction on numbers so the more the merrier!
