The WhatsApp group admin is the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, CIPS, 22 Karee street, Centurion, Pretoria, Gauteng South Africa.
By joining this group, you agree that you have read and will follow the rules and guidelines set for the WhatsApp group. You also agree to abide by all relevant policies and procedures of CIPS.
Purpose of the group
The purpose of the WhatsApp group is to provide study support and information to group participants that is relevant to them and that they may have overlooked in emails sent by CIPS.
Rules of engagement
Participants in the group are required to follow the rules at all times. Please note that CIPS has a zero tolerance policy for participants who fail to comply.
The purpose of the rules is to ensure group members are not inundated with messages.
Please note that once you join the group your phone number will be visible to other group members.
A group member that fails to adhere to the rules will be blocked immediately.
Group members are free to exit the group at any time if they so wish.
For any customer services or other related queries please contact us by phoning, emailing, or by sending us a message on Facebook and Instagram.
CIPS will not be held responsible or accountable for messages sent in error to the group by group members.
How to be added to the group
Students would have received an email from CIPS with the group link. Alternatively this information was shared on Facebook and Instagram. To be added to the group, contact us if you have not received this communication at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How to leave the group
Participants are free to leave the group at any time by locating the Exit group button in within the group on WhatsApp.
The WhatsApp group is not a platform for discussion or two-way communication between CIPS and participants. If you have any queries, please contact CIPS using our alternative platforms.
The group admin will open the groups for students to ask exam quetsions. This will take place every Wednesday between 16 June and 7 July from 13.00 - 14.00. Thereafter the groups will be closed and the tutors will respond to all the questions within three days.
Students are not allowed to ask any other questions related to CIPS exams. Failure to comply will result in removal from the group.
The Administrator reserves the right to close the group without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the control of the Administrator.
