Our regeneration partnership includes a broad variety of services and functions including highways and transport, development services and building control, asset management and security services, regeneration and strategic housing, and architectural.

Our regeneration partnership includes a broad variety of services and functions including highways and transport, development services and building control, asset management and security services, regeneration and strategic housing, and architectural.

  • 30m guaranteed savings against core services and business cases
  • Additional £170m inward investment above the Council’s target of £400m
  • Provide 3,500 new and improved homes
  • Create 4,200 new jobs from Regeneration Projects
  • Reduce the number of Killed or Seriously Injured on NE Lincolnshire Highways by 33%
  • Reduce carbon emissions by 20%
  • Provide training, apprenticeships or work placements for 400 young people.


Early successes:

We have been successful in securing significant external project funding from the department of transport that will increase our capability to improve the local area through improved infrastructure. This additional £9.3m of funding will support local people gaining improved access to places of work, training or education, as well as improving the road links for importing and exporting goods via the local port, increasing the potential for attracting new investment and development into the area.

In addition we have gained Regional and National recognition by winning some prestigious awards such as:

  • Gaining recognition for our partnership through being awarded ‘Highly Commended’ at the Local Government Chronicle Council awards 2011
  • Announced winner in two categories at the Local Government Chronicle Business Awards 2012,winning the ‘Transformation Partnership’ category and ‘Frontline Service’ category.
