The portfolio of regular events dedicated to the Fellowship Community provides an excellent opportunity for Fellows to network and be inspired with thought provoking discussions on key issues, and to exchange ideas and experiences.

As well as bespoke events organised for Fellows you will also be invited to attend CPO dinners and round tables as well as CIPS Corporate events at concession rates.

The events carry the motto ‘Amazing Speakers at Amazing Places’ and previous venues have included the Bank of England, Bletchley Park, BAE Systems plus dinners at Royal College of Music and the Oriental Club.

A word from our Chair - Shirley Cooper FCIPS

CIPS is an organisation that has been very dear to my heart for many years and I was recently overwhelmed and humbled to receive an award for my outstanding dedication and contribution to the profession. As CIPS President in 2009/10 I have always been very passionate about ensuring that procurement as a profession is given the recognition it deserves as a strategic function. By inspiring those in the profession to ensure that they and their teams are CIPS qualified and shout about the value that they add within an organisation, I hope will encourage other functions of the necessity to be engaged with procurement from the outset.

My aim of growing Fellowship and supporting more women to apply was to ensure that our senior professionals are engaged with their professional body and have the support of each other and the wider business community for the benefit of the profession.

I am delighted with the success the Fellowship Committee have achieved so far and look forward to continuing our great work to support CIPS and it’s long term strategies. My thanks go to my fantastic team on the Committee.
