CIPS ACT Committee in partnership with Callida Consulting are pleased to be hosting a networking and learning session on the topic of Focus on Sustainable Procurement. Join us to hear from a panel discussion lead by Lachlan Cotter, Partner at Callida Consulting and Glen Bain, Executive Director Procurement of ACT Government as they share their views and insights.

    Lachlan Cotter is a Partner at Callida Consulting, and has worked at Callida for nearly seven years.  From his beginnings with Callida, he has seen the firm grow from 20, to approximately 100 professionals, offering a broad range of professional services.

    Lachlan’s responsibilities at Callida are both as Partner for the Strategic Sourcing Team, who provide expert assistance over the sourcing life cycle, as well as one of three Partners who are responsible for Callida’s Financial Management capability.

    Lachlan has led some of Callida’s most significant sourcing assignments including:

    • Development of Callida’s Contract Management Framework, which was adopted and implemented by one of the most significant Department’s in the Commonwealth
    • Multiple contract management remediation activities, to provide capability uplift and broad contract management improvement, often during times of public scrutiny
    • Multiple procurement engagements, and in particular through the financial elements of those procurements.

    Glen Bain is an experienced Director of Procurement with a demonstrated history of working in the government administration industry. Skilled in Government, Media Relations, Management, Community Engagement, and Policy Analysis. Strong purchasing professional and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
