Women in Procurement


Sara Omer FCIPS spoke on ethics, noting: “This region has been in the limelight recently, with many incidents related to labour rights. It is our responsibility as professional practitioners to be vigilant, professional and educated on ethical procurement and supply practices – it all starts with the sourcing and contracting process.”

Speaking about the event, one participant commented: “It’s an excellent chance to develop a network among women in the region, to support each other, provide mentorship and guidance to new entrants to the field. And it helps to raise the profile of supply chain professionals among employers.”
