Diageo mobile distillery lifts spirits in Africa

The world’s largest premium drinks brand is flourishing thanks to its innovative manufacturing

In the fight for market share in Africa’s alcoholic drinks market, Diageo has a secret weapon it calls ‘the Cube’. In essence, it’s a mobile distillery, made from five 8 x 40ft shipping containers, that can produce 1,500 plastic bottles of liquor an hour.
