Global focus on… roses

The cut flowers are travelling further, as our demand for this classic bloom, synonymous with love, shows no sign of abating.

NOT JUST TULIPS FROM AMSTERDAM
Over nine million roses were exported daily in 2015 from the Netherlands, with 11% sent to the UK, well behind Germany, which with almost 40% was the largest consumer, according to Statistics Netherlands.
