SM is on the lookout for purchasing and supply management professionals who stand out as excellent leaders.

We believe there are many people in the profession whose talents as leaders may have gone unrecognised so far.

A feature called "Leading lights" will appear in the magazine in July - spotlighting people at all levels nominated by SM's readers.

If you know of someone you think demonstrates first-class leadership qualities, we want to hear from you.

Nominations are not restricted to people already in management positions. Your nominee could be quite a junior person who nevertheless demonstrates outstanding ability as a leader.

The "Leading lights" feature will include two lists - one for people in senior positions who have proved their leadership qualities, and another for "high flyers" who can be at any level.

Please send up to 150 words saying who your nomination is and why you have chosen them to, Carly Melzack
