Reqio has launched a hosted content management solution to help suppliers commit to customers' e-procurement projects.
The vendor has teamed up with content creation specialists TSI Powerdata to help suppliers get catalogues containing up to 1,000 product numbers online within a month.
The Content Hub costs suppliers £1,200 a month and buyers can search product catalogues by keyword, category or pictorial reference.
It is built on version 3.0 of Reqio's Catalogue Manager, which contains two new modules, Product Centre and Source and Select, for purchasers and suppliers to configure the catalogues.
Suppliers can build specific catalogues for different customers with subsets of their product portfolio and can also team up with other suppliers to produce an aggregate catalogue.
They can also produce CD-roms and online "punch-out" catalogues for customers.
Mark Corderoy, Reqio's chief executive, said the aim is get suppliers involved in e-procurement.
"Suppliers must not give up ownership of their data, which has too often been controlled by buyers," he said.
