PeopleSoft claims that users of its latest customer relationship management suite are three clicks away from creating an order.
The PeopleSoft CRM 8.8 package contains more than 150 new features and enhancements of its sales, marketing and service-related applications.
These include more flexible sales forecasting, improved customer profile and product management and a new human resources help desk.
It has also developed industry-specific solutions for the energy, insurance and high technology sectors, in addition to existing financial services communications and government-tailored applications.
The overall aim of the enhancements is to help firms deploy and integrate the systems more fully, and to speed up the input and retrieval of data with a simplified user interface.
PeopleSoft intends the system to be more intuitive. The suite introduces extra analytical functions, including tools that match products and services to customers more easily.
