Purchasers have less than a month left to enter the profession's top awards.
The CIPS Supply Management Awards 2003 (formerly the Kelly's CIPS Awards) cover 13 team and two individual categories, and are open to all public and private organisations.
Entries are sought for the following team categories: most improved purchasing operation; best purchaser-supplier partnership; best use of technology; best international project; most innovative project; best process improvement initiative; best contribution to corporate responsibility; and best people development initiative.
Team entrants will automatically be considered for five industry sector categories and for the title of overall winner 2003.
Individuals can enter for the CIPS Purchasing and Supply Management Professional of the Year and CIPS Management Young Purchasing and Supply Professional of the Year (aged under 30) awards.
The closing date for all entries is Friday 6 June.
The awards, organised by CIPS and SM in association with TradingPartners and sponsored by Ariba, Boxwood, Efficio, Hays Personnel, QP Group and Kelly's Directories, will be presented at a dinner in London on 30 October.
