TV celebrity and impressionist Rory Bremner will host next month's CIPS Supply Management Awards dinner.
Bremner, famous for sending up everyone from the prime minister, Tony Blair, to cricket commentator Richie Benaud, will entertain the audience with a comedy routine and then announce the winners in 15 categories.
Thirty-four organisations, including Barclays, HBOS, OGCbuying.solutions and the London Borough of Haringey, have been shortlisted in the awards, which are organised jointly by CIPS and Supply Management (see www.cipssmawards.com
for a full list).
The dinner takes place at the London Hilton hotel on Park Lane on 30 October and will be the biggest in the awards' five-year history. More than 630 people have already booked their places.
