Digica, the outsourced and managed IT services business, has merged with Fox IT Managed Services.
The combined company will retain the name Digica along with its head office in Nottingham and regional offices in Leeds and Cape Town.
Fox IT is based in Woking, Warrington and Daventry in the UK and focuses on the local government and healthcare sectors.
Digica was established in 1994 and has a mainly commercial client base, mostly medium to large organisations.
The merged firm has an annual turnover of more than £20 million, an order book of £30 million and about 300 staff.
Digica said it will be a major player in the market for £100,000-£2 million contact range.
SAP awarded Digica with a partner hosting qualification in September for its UK work in hosting the mySAP business suite.
Also in September, household products supplier CeDo signed a three-year deal with Logica to manage its enterprise resource planning infrastructure, initially in the UK and France but to be rolled out globally.
CeDo had already been outsourcing an iSeries (AS/400) machine to Digica and it now runs PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne as its ERP system.
Fox IT's Global Service Management Consultancy and Training is not part of the current merger and will remain a separate company.
