Sarah Lim, director of recruitment at Purcon, has left the firm after more than 10 years.

This week she took up her new role as partner at executive recruitment firm Odgers Ray & Berndtson, where she will oversee recruitment in retail, media and leisure and fast-moving consumer goods.

Tony English, managing director of Purcon, said Lim had played a prominent role in developing a team of high-quality recruitment professionals.

Lim said she was proud of her focus on delivering quality work for clients and at having achieved her MBA during her time at Purcon.

As a partner she will help with board-level appointments for chief operating, finance and executive officers. She will also be the company's global lead on senior procurement posts.

"I am keen to support the development of procurement and its visibility and activity at board level," she said.

Lim's successor is Lucy Harding, who has extensive experience in the recruitment arena.
