The OGC has reorganised its senior management team, reducing the number of board-level positions in the agency to eight.
Richard Abbott, executive director for collaborative procurement, and Mark Pedlingham, executive director for markets, skills and suppliers, have both been moved off the board.
Following a strategic review of the agency's operations, a new directorate - on collaborative procurement, markets and suppliers, government estate transformation and the new Centre of Expertise for Sustainable Procurement - will be led by deputy chief executive William Jordan.
Sally Collier will head the new policy and capability directorate, including leadership of the Government Procurement Service. Jonathan Simcock will continue to lead the major projects directorate.
An OGC spokesman told SM a streamlined board reflected the agency's "more muscular" operation and approach to goals including efficiency savings.
