Recruiter outsources indirect procurement

Recruitment firm Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) has outsourced its indirect procurement to Xchanging in a deal worth £825 million.

The five-year contract will see Xchanging manage indirect spend worth £167 million on behalf of AMS across the UK, Germany and Denmark.

Categories include travel and marketing and the outsourcer will also provide a fully managed procure-to-pay service including transactional processing and systems and order management.

Gordon Stuart, chief financial officer at AMS said: "With Xchanging managing our end-to-end procurement processes, we can better focus on growing the recruitment process outsourcing relationships we have and delivering the highest level of service to our clients."

David Rich Jones, executive director, global procurement at Xchanging, added: "This partnership will significantly expand Xchanging's procurement services presence and we look forward to being the global procurement processor of choice for AMS."
