Award-winning stand-up comic John Bishop has been confirmed as the host of this year’s CIPS Supply Management Awards in London in September.
He will entertain the audience before announcing the winners in the eight team categories and two individual categories, as well as the overall winner.
Bishop was the first guest artist on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and has since appeared on Mock the Week, Skins and Celebrity Mastermind. He appears alongside Freddie Flintoff as team captain on Sky’s sports quiz A League of Their Own and this year Bishop’s Elvis Has Left The Building tour reaches Wembley Arena in London.
His brand of deadpan humour encompasses every aspect of his varied and colourful life: from fatherhood to cycling around the world, from a successful career in pharmaceuticals to playing semi-professional football.
E-procurement firm BravoSolution is the headline sponsor of this year’s awards, while American Express, Hays Procurement and RS are also sponsoring the event. QinetiQ Commerce Decisions is the official technology provider for the judging process.
The black-tie gala dinner will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, on 8 September. Go to the website for more information and to book your table.
