Award-winning journalist and presenter Huw Edwards will address the audience of procurement professionals attending the annual dinner at the London Hilton, Park Lane on 13 March.

Originally a parliamentary correspondent, Edwards now presents the BBC Ten O’clock News, watched by 27 million viewers around the UK.

It has been a busy year for Edwards, who recently appeared on the big screen (as himself) in the James Bond film Skyfall. Dubbed the nation’s most popular newsreader, Edwards provided the commentary for the Olympic opening ceremony and before this presented The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Other career highlights include winning a BAFTA, starring in Doctor Who and interviewing presidents, prime ministers and major public figures all over the world.

The CIPS Annual Dinner is a glamorous black-tie event, commencing with a Champagne reception at 7.30pm, followed by a four-course meal including wine. The evening is your chance to network and celebrate with fellow procurement leaders.
