Comedian Miles Jupp will host this year’s CIPS Supply Management Awards 2012.
Stand-up and actor Jupp will entertain the audience and present the prizes on the procurement and supply profession’s night of celebration on 12 September at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
The gala evening, held in association with headline sponsor BravoSolution, will see winners from the nine categories battle it out to take home the overall award. There are also two individual prizes to be contested.
Jupp was nominated for the best newcomer prize at the 2003 Perrier Comedy Awards and is known for his appearances on both TV and the big screen. In addition to appearances on panel shows such as Have I Got News For You, Would I Lie to You? and Mock the Week, he will be familiar for his role as Nigel in the BBC Sitcom Rev, and for those with younger children as Archie the Inventor in the series Balamory.
He has also made appearances in a number of blockbuster films including Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Sherlock Holmes and Johnny English Reborn.
