Ultimo bra chief and Compass Group director confirmed for CIPS Conference 2012

Founder of lingerie brand Ultimo, Michelle Mone, and Compass Group commercial managing director Oliver Cock, will be speaking at the CIPS Conference and Exhibition on 4 October.

The event, in association with American Express Global Corporate Payments, will be held at King’s Place in London. The theme is ‘Building the profession of the future’ and will focus on how procurement must develop into a corporate function while attracting top talent and graduates to the profession.

Cock will lead a morning session entitled ‘how to elevate procurement (and get yourself promoted)’, while Mone will deliver the afternoon keynote to inspire delegates to turn ideas into reality.

The increasing role of purchasing and supply in sport will be covered by The FA's procurement manager Ian Fenwick and head of procurement for Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, David Brown.
