Omega Pharma has appointed Rebecca Spittle to the role of head of supply chain to bolster its senior management team following the acquisition of 10 household brands from GlaxoSmithKline.
Spittle has spent 10 years within supply chain operations. She is moving from her role as head of customer supply in the UK baby nutrition division at Danone. She previously held roles at Reckitt Benckiser.
Omega Pharma said she will focus on the implementation of effective supply chain processes, customer relationship management and on developing the procurement team.
She said: “My role will lead the management of an efficient supply chain which will deliver value to our customers and the business to ensure future growth.”
Neil Lister, general manager UK and Ireland, said of Spittle’s appointment and the recruitment of Chris Rudd as commercial director for UK and Ireland: “These appointments move us closer to our goal of achieving retail sales of £300 million in the next five years in the UK and Ireland.”
