WSH has appointed Andy Milner to lead the procurement and supply chain operations across its seven catering and hospitality businesses.
Milner joins the company - which owns restaurant Benugo and catering providers BaxterStorey, Caterlink and Holroyd Howe - as procurement and supply chain director, responsible for managing its multimillion-pound supplier portfolio. He will lead a team of eight purchasers and will be tasked with developing strategic relationships with suppliers and identifying regional opportunities for efficiencies.
“I feel tremendously excited about working in such a dynamic business and look forward to driving purchasing best practice to support commercial growth,” said Milner.
Milner was previously head of group supply chain at Gondola Group, which owns restaurants PizzaExpress, Zizzi and Ask.
Alastair Storey, chief executive of WSH (previously known as Westbury Street Holdings), said in a statement: “At the heart of WSH is our dedication to sourcing local, seasonal produce to provide our chefs with the highest quality fresh ingredients. Sustainable procurement and the long-standing relationships that we have with our suppliers are vital to achieving this. Andy’s expertise in driving efficiencies within the supply chain will be incredibly valuable as we continue to grow the business and I am delighted to have him on board.”
Anil Alim, who was formerly in the role at WSH is now a procurement consultant, currently working on a project at Benelux based DIY firm, Maxeda.
