This year's CIPS Supply Management Awards 2013 includes new categories – and there is still time to enter before the deadline of 12 April.
This year, organisations that have supported a procurement function will have the opportunity to shine on the night of celebration in the Best Procurement Consultancy Project of the Year category. They will need to provide evidence of this support, how it went further than the contract and how a legacy was provided.
The award for Most Improved Procurement Operation – Step Change has also been split in two this year, giving larger and smaller organisations the chance to compete against their peers on a level playing field.
There are eight other team categories to enter, and this year there are three individual categories including the new Procurement’s CEO of the Year, which recognises the contribution of a senior leader to the procurement function. Information about the categories and the entry criteria can be found at www.cipssmawards.com
All entrants that make the shortlist, which will be announced in the summer, will be invited to a special pre-awards event.
The gala evening takes place at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London on 11 September, with the high-profile compère to be announced shortly. AirPlus is the headline sponsor of the event, which is also supported by Hays Procurement and QinetiQ Commerce Decisions is the official technology provider for the judging.
