E-procurement software provider Procserve is to give buyers access to online retailer Amazon and allow them to make corporate purchases through a new system.

The technology company said the system gives companies the benefits of buying from Amazon while using existing and familiar corporate procurement systems and processes.

Nigel Clifford, Procserve CEO, said: “We have strong demand for appropriate corporate access to Amazon from our customers and, working closely with Amazon, we have been able to make this a reality. We believe combining our easy to use B2B e-marketplace with Amazon's world leading content creates the biggest opportunity for change in corporate procurement behaviours in decades.”

The Procserve Amazon software is combined with the e-procurement provider's ePayments system to remove the need for invoice processing, while still providing buyers with VAT information and spend data.
