There is just one week to book your place at the CIPS Middle East Conference, which takes place in Dubai on 12 May.

Procurement and supply professionals from across the region have been lined up to share their expertise and advice on topics as varied as sustainability, career development and building a world-class purchasing team.

A panel including participants from du, EQUATE and Heriot-Watt University Dubai will tackle the tricky topic of what should procurement’s priority be when it comes to sustainability.

There will also be a debate with speakers from Emirates, Majid Al Futtaim Properties and PMMS Middle East covering how to raise your profile to secure the job you want.

Other speakers at the conference include leadership guru Tommy Weir, and Bhanu Pratap Singh, director of procurement at Atlantis, The Palm who will be discussing success in the face of adversity.

The CIPS Middle East Conference, which has the theme Sustainable Supply Chain Success in the Middle East, takes place at the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel in Dubai on 12 May. For more details and to book your place visit

Recognising the best in procurement and supply in the region, the CIPS Middle East Awards will be held at the same venue in the evening of 12 May. For full details on how to book your table visit
