IKEA sustainability manager to speak at CIPS Annual Conference

Charlie Browne, environmental and sustainable development manager at IKEA, is the latest high profile speaker to be announced for the CIPS Annual Conference in London.

Browne has over a decade of experience in store operations, including waste management, energy conservation and resource efficiency. His current priorities are bringing renewable energy to IKEA buildings and green travel plans.

Browne will lead a session entitled Improving The Supply Chain Through Sustainability, providing a valuable insight into how to maximise resource efficiency and supply chain relationships.

Other speakers for the event on Thursday, 2 October include writer and broadcaster Jay Rayner, Rita Clifton, president of the Market Research Society, and Andrew Newnham, group procurement director for ITV.
