Luxury car manufacturer Bentley is planning to expand its purchasing team as part of a £40 million investment in the company’s headquarters in Crewe.
Bentley is creating a 45,000m² development centre, with a styling studio, research and development offices and a technical workshop for 1,300 engineers.
The company said it was recruiting for 300 professional and technical positions overall, in engineering, sales and marketing, purchasing, project management, and specialist areas including metrology, laboratory, paint and wood.
Bentley said the positions in the purchasing department were across a range of levels and would be involved in supporting the delivery of future products, including the Bentayga SUV due to launch next year.
All Bentley’s operations including design, R&D, engineering and production, are headquartered in Crewe, where it employs 3,800 people.
A recruitment day will be held on 21 February 2015 at CW1 House at Bentley’s headquarters.
