Northrop Grumman has appointed Kevin Mitchell as vice president of global supply chain of its aerospace systems division.
Since joining the global security company in 2003 Mitchell has held a variety of positions, most recently as vice president of production operations and site manager at the company’s site in El Segundo, California.
In his new role Mitchell will be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong supply base for the range of products produced by the aerospace systems division, including the production of unmanned aircraft.
Tommy Tomlinson, vice president of global operations for Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, said: "Kevin has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of global supply chain.
“His commitment to quality, affordability and planning are critical to taking our global supply chain operations to the next level.”
Prior to joining Northrop Grumman Mitchell was director of wing production operations for CDG, a subsidiary of Boeing.
Mitchell replaces Lisa Kohl, who has retired.
