CIPS news round-up – October 2015

14 October 2015

CIPS has accredited the MBA programme at the University of Northampton.

It is only the second MBA in the country, after the University of Birmingham’s qualification, to receive CIPS accreditation. The MBA programme, with a procurement and supply chain focus, offers a pathway for CIPS Chartered Status adopted within Northampton Business School.

Dr Mairi Watson, deputy dean at Northampton Business School, said: “This particular MBA programme complements other postgraduate programmes at the University of Northampton and validates the Centre of Excellence Logistics and Supply at Northampton Business School as a leader in the field of logistics and supply chain education.”

The second annual CIPS Fellows of the Future event will be held on 3 November at the Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising in London.

Aimed at encouraging CIPS members to achieve the highest grade of membership – fellowship – the event will include a presentation from Stuart Pemble, CPO of a leading British luxury fashion house and FTSE 100 company.

If you have a ‘rising star’ who you think would benefit from this chance then please join us and bring them along as your guest. For further details, visit www.cips.org/en-GB/events/Fellows-events/Fellows-of-the-Future/?ec=3GXE
