Emirates National Oil Company triumphs in CIPS Middle East Supply Management Awards

The procurement team at the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) has scooped the main honours during a glittering ceremony to celebrate the best of procurement in the MENA region.

The Dubai-based oil company took the prize for overall award, best people development initiative and best supplier relationship management category. It was also shortlisted for several other awards.

Prizes were awarded in front of a packed house at Dubai’s five-star hotel The Address, gathered for the fifth annual celebration of excellence in procurement and supply in the region.

The coveted procurement team of the year award went to Abu Dhabi Airports Company.

Best contribution to corporate responsibility went to the National Bank of Abu Dhabi. The Petroleum Institute won the best cross-functional teamwork project. Best supplier development initiative went to Emirates Airlines while international procurement project of the year was won by Etihad Airways.

The most improved procurement operation – start-up was Bureau Expo Dubai 2020 and most improved purchasing operation – step change was Atlantis The Palm.

Awards in individual categories were picked up Hala AI Suwaidi of The Petroleum Institute, who was named procurement and supply chain management professional of the year. Abdul Aziz Abdul Mujeb of Aldar Properties, won young procurement and supply chain management professional of the year.
