The shortlist has been announced for the CIPS Pan Africa Supply Management Awards following a record number of entries.
This year has seen the number of entries almost double from last year’s figure, and the winners will be announced at the CIPS Pan Africa Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 11-12 May.
The shortlisted organisations are:

Prospa-Kenya - Spreading professionalism; the Kenyan "Whatsapp" initiative
Most innovative use of technology in procurement and supply
Nedbank - Car Rental E-Auction (Collaboration Initiative)
SABMiller - SABMiller eAuction
SABMiller - Temporary Employment Management System and Workforce Productivity
The awards for Best procurement and supply consultancy project of the year and Best supplier and enterprise development project will be announced on the night.
