Strata wins $1bn deals to supply Airbus parts

UAE-based aerospace components manufacturer Strata has signed $1 bn deal to produce key parts for Airbus planes.

In the two contracts totalling $1bn Strata will make horizontal tail planes for the Airbus A320 and inboard flaps for the A350-900.

To meet the Airbus standards, Strata will use using cutting-edge automation and production technology to manufacture the horizontal tail planes, which are a key part of the aircraft’s control surfaces.
