Use social media to engage with suppliers

Procurement must look to capitalise on the opportunities of social media to do things differently and increase the appeal of the function to the younger generation.

Speaking at the CIPS Australasia Conference in Melbourne, Bill Gaheer, director of cloud solutions ERP/SCM at Oracle, called on buyers to take inspiration from how the marketing and public relations professions have embraced social media's potential.
