South Africa’s National Treasury (NT) has confirmed the government’s CPO will leave on 31 December.
According to the NT Kenneth Brown initially sought to leave the post in June to work in the private sector, but was persuaded to stay on to “solidify the processes and initiatives he had established at the Office of the Chief Procurement Office” (OCPO). He has been in post since 2013.
