Africa needs to focus on agriculture and manufacturing to drive development

African countries need to focus on promoting investment in agriculture and manufacturing to drive the continent’s development, according to the African Development Bank (AfDB).

The bank’s African Development Report 2015 said economies have “grown substantially” over the past decade but “poverty and inequality reduction has remained less responsive to growth successes”.
