'Political will biggest barrier to food security in Africa'

The biggest challenge to food security in Africa is lack of leadership and political will, a summit to tackle the issue was told.

The conference – Investing in a Food Secure Future – was the first of its kind between the European Union (EU) and the African Union Commission (AUC). Its aim was to promote cooperation in policies around food, agriculture and nutrition improvement.
